The lamp is fine. It's quite compact, but the gooseneck allows me to direct the light where I need it. The LED bulbls eliminates the glare when I'm working on my computer, which is often.I will, however, have to track down info about how to change the light bulb. There was no literature about this in the box, just a tag on the lamp with a phone number for questions. Since the hours are similar to my usual work schedule, I'll have to wait for a weekday when I'm off to follow-up.
The lamp is easy to use. However, do not expect warm, yellow light. This type of bulb emits a bluish light that does light the reading matter, but not in the way you may have expected unless you are familiar with this type of bulb.
A very attractive and functional desk lamp. Not too large, not too small . . . just right. Nice bright white light. Goose neck allows it to be turned to any position. Bulb doesn't become too hot. Not necessary to touch the portion of the lamp that contains the bulb as it does get warm, but you can move the lamp by grasping the top portion of the goose neck to position the lamp anywhere you would like the light to shine. Great for a desk or bedside table. Nice toggle switch on the base of the lamp. One brightness alone, but that's fine. Very attractive light. I couldn't be happier with it and would recommend it to anyone for their desk or bedside table or even a bookshelf.
This light is the best I have ever found,I am estatic that my aging eyes can be this sharp again with this light. Go Adesso!
