got tis for my kitchen :Hunter ceiling fan, it's 3 60w array of incandescent bulbs were really not bright enough. Now that I have installed 3 of these bulbs the room is flooded with bright white light. A treat for these old eyes. I am so pleased with discovering this product on Amazon,as well as their excellent service.

Bought one of these to try in a nice chandelier. The commodity incandescent bulbs it had put out this sickly yellow light that does not bring out the colors in the cut crystal. New (cheap) bulbs did not help, so I tried these which emit a different spectrum. The light from this bulb is white and intense and so gives a great deal more color from the crystal. It also retains its "whiteness" when dimmmed. An unexpected benefit is that the long filament creates these really neat radial line patterns.Longtime Amazon user but this is the first time I've ever been moved to write a review. This bulb is expensive but oh, what a difference. I agree that the 3-bulb limit is silly.

I was originally going to use a halogen replacement (MTBF 5000 hrs), but this krypton/xenon replacement (MTBF 3000 hrs) is 0.7 the cost. Both types of bulbs retain their whiteness better when dimmed than the standard tungsten (MTBF 1000-1500 hrs) bulb. And this one will fit in a standard candelabra base (E12).

These bulbs work great! I have 4 ceiling fans and I could never get enough light out of any of them. I popped in these bulbs, and there is now plenty of light. No decorative candelabra based bulb could produce anywhere near the amount of pleasant lighting that these bulbs create.

I installed a ceiling fan only to discover the candelabra bulbs were way to wimpy to light up the room. The Bulbrite bulbs did the trick, dim well also. I guess I don't have to get a replacement fan after all. Too bad three bulbs cost 1/4 the price of the fan itself. Still, thank you for sparing me a redo! Next time I'll look for bulb type on the fan packaging.

i ordered. they shipped it. i installed it. it lit up perfectly. i had trouble finding these bulbs locally but i know where i will buy them from now on.

This is a bright bulb, but upon reflection i'm not sure why I decided it'd be worth paying so much more for a bulb. A normal dimmable 60-watt fan bulb probably would have been fine.

I have this bulb installed in a ceiling fan unit. I used the clear bulb. Contrary to other reviews, the light produced is NOT "bright white" at all. "Bright" is relative: this bulb produces 960 lumens. "White" to me would be a color temperature of 5500-6500K or "daylight white." This bulb produces more of an orange/yellow light "warm white" which falls between 2700-2800K. By the way, the manufacturer's website is useless for relevant specifications.update: I ordered the frosted bulb to check difference. verdict: There really is no difference. The light is still orange/yellow.

I have a fan with a light lit above a desk in a home office. The normal bulbs are not bright enough to lighten the work area. I installed these, and they are fantastic. They give out about three times the light as the original bulbs.

They last longer then the bulbs i bought from ace hardware, The bulbs are easy to install. The cost is a little more then other bulbs but they are cheeper in the long run.
