Camping Hiking 18650 Rechargeable 300 Lumen CREE LED Headlamp with battery & charger included Reviews

    1. Headlamp was much better quality than expected, and works very well. LED is very bright, and even the lower setting works well. The "charger' that it sounds like youre getting with this is just an adapter that plugs directly into the lights battery case, so basically you charge it like a cell phone. Anyway, this thing DUSTS those pretend 6 LED headlamps at the local chain stores which costs as much and mostly even more, the price is nice, it lights up dark basements like Grand Central which is good if youre running wire allday like me, and Im now convinced 18650 batts are the shiznit! Buy it, its a good product.

    2. I was a bit skeptical about the quality of this head light for the price, so many things turn out to be less than advertised. This product however does not fall into that category. This is definitely a 300 lumen LED. I have a 220 lumen Redline Cree LED flashlight that I thought was the brightest thing I had ever seen until I turned on this headlight. The quality for the price is great. The main use for this LED headlight will be to wear when hog hunting. I don't think I will need to take a gun any more. This thing will blind them and then we can just tie them up and drag them away. Unless someone starts handing out sunglasses to the pigs. Bottom line; good product, good price, ships fast.

    3. Was initially very impressed. However, within a week, the tabs on the battery compartment snapped off and the battery no longer takes a full charge.

    4. To make it brief, this is at first glance a good product, at a reasonable price, but using it reveals a couple major design and/or construction flaws. It throws a bright light, and it's pretty lightweight and wearable. But I ran into quite a few problems right away.(1) Although the headband is elastic, the wires connecting the battery pack to the light obviously are not, and they have no slack in them. So, on my average-sized head, the wires are stretched to the max, and it wouldn't fit on a larger noggin without pulling the light to the side.(2) The light points UP. You can flip it to a downward-pointing direction, but if you do this it's just flopping around on a hinge. It should be designed to point straight ahead, and be re-orientable more securely.(3) The closure on the battery case is flimsy. The very first time I tried to use my lamps in the field, the closure of one battery case broke off, rendering it unusable. I'll be able to tape it shut, but that shouldn't be necessary, especially not on the very first use.(4) I wore the one that didn't break while running. While running, the bezel came unscrewed, and the bezel, lens, and bulb fell out on the trail. I was fortunately able to find them all and reassemble it, but this is another part I'll have to hold together with tape while using it.So it seems good at first, and it's usable in a makeshift way, but is not nearly of the quality expected.

    5. This light only has two reviews, so I thought I'd make it three. Just received this light in the mail today for my brother. I really want to keep it, but maybe I'll get myself one after awhile. I bought this light based on the first review on here (thank you; bye the way) because I also have a nebo redline 220 lumen which I really love. That was the only way to judge the brightness of this headlamp since I don't have a lumen tester. First off, Wow and second this light is quite a bit brighter than the nebo 220 lumen. I can't speak about the quality or how long it will hold up under use since I just received it, but I'll change my review if it dies on my brother any time soon. I am really impressed with this light and love the fact that it has a rechargeable battery. The rechargeable battery is really important because the new age led's tend to like power and with a rechargeable battery, that will offset the price of buying throw away batteries. So far so good. Love it and hope this extra review helps.

    6. This is a great headlamp and very bright too but the feature that I like the most its that it's rechargeable.... most of my fellow A&P mechs are asking me where did I bought it from since they also need a headlamp when working at night.

    7. This is a very bright light. The whole unit is lightweight for a light this powerful. the battery housing is in the back which balances the light nicely for long term comfort. The light has foam padding where it touches your forehead, very nice. The beam focuses and tilts to give several options for directing the right amount of light right where you want it. I highly recommend this light for its value, intensity, adjustability, weight, and comfort. If you are looking for a headlamp, do yourself a favor and buy this one. The only thing I would change about this light is the head strap. It is adjustable, but I have a large head and use the full length of the provided strap. It does stretch and fits very comfortably, but I would prefer a longer strap option, mostly so I could mount this light over my helmet for cycling, although it fits under my helmet just fine.
