   I am not a commercial lawn person but I have a fairly large area to maintain at my home. I have owned this Tanaka edger for about 15 years now and it is wonderful. It's a great design with the direct shaft drive, no belts, 2-cycle motor for lots of power in a small package and I like how the height adjustment works...very easy! It has held up these 15 years very well and runs better now than it did when I first bought it.    I purchased this edger from another website, and it really excels at placing a sharp, crisp edge. I also have a stick edger, which works okay when I am just refreshing an existing edge, but the Tanaka has the power to place a fresh new edge without struggling.The only negative I would mention is the instructions were the absolute worst. The pictures in the instruction manual were laughable, and I mostly had to "wing" it.
