The kit has everything I needed to update my old fixtures and is very easy to install. I would have preferred a lever handle but I couldn't find one. This looks much better than the old one I had.
We had a problem with the single-handle faucet in the shower. It was too hard to pull out so we went ahead and replaced all the fixtures from the shower head to the drain and this product covered it all. Plus it was at least $20 cheaper then it was at Home Depot. The only glitch I had was with the instructions for replacing the tub/shower faucet itself. Other than that, the kit was everything it was advertised to be. I would recommend this product to anyone who is needs to upgrade an old Moen product with new replacement parts.
This is a great quality product that was easy to install. The individual parts cost about double what this kit costs. It updated the tub without having to do plumbing in the wall. One of the screws was stripped, but kit came with a replacement that was in another small bag marked "good". I would order other products by this manufacturer.
This shower trim kit was exactly what I ordered. I spent too much time driving around town trying to find one. The ones at the home improvement stores included the valve (which I did not need) and was twice the price.I found different parts around town but each piece was more expensive than the whole kit! Thanks
I ordered two kits. The showerheads in both were scratched on one side because of the way they were packed. I emailed DANCO and they said they would send replacements but it's been two weeks and they have not arrived. The showerheads are much noisier (we have high water pressure) than the ones I replaced they make a sort of whistling sound at full flow.The tub spout can be tricky to install depending on the existing plumbing. I saw that some DANCO tub spouts are different at the home center so maybe they have updated the design.I bought a wrench for a few bucks remove the drain. I couldn't break it free with pliers handles as suggested in the directions.
