I bought this faucet last fall and had it installed. Three weeks ago while in the middle of using it, the water flow slowed down significantly. It seemed like it was a problem with the water pressure at which point I began to check possibilities. All other water outlets in the house worked perfectly. After eliminiting several other possibilities it was discovered that there was something in the wand that was preventing water flow. Additionally, there was trapped water in the wand that would not come out. Also, this piece is impossible to take apart. I found an entry on the web about someone having the same problem. I called Delta and they said they would send another wand at no charge and with no proof of purchase. The free replacement is great but it takes 2 weeks and there is no telling when or if the replacement will malfunction nor how long Delta will continue to provide this service.
Our old faucet packed it in and this had the same features of the old one, with the pull out Kitchen Faucet/Sprayer, so far I'm very happy with it, and really like the option of the Soap and Lotion Dispenser too. The price was right too; especially for a name brand faucet.
We bought this faucet as a replacement for an old (>15 yr) Moen single handle faucet that did not have a pullout spray. Installation was easy with any one or three hole sink. Our biggest problem was installing the soap dispenser, which was no fault of Delta's but our own (It pays to know exactly how many holes you have in your sink before trying to install everything....). After installation, we have no leaks and the faucet works great! I love the push-button ability to change from stream to spray. Great product, great price.
Had this faucet since Nov 2008. Tried to clean the aerator but I can't remove it. Called Delta help line. They couldn't help. They sent me new wand. I guess I'll try to back flush the wand to get the debris out. Other than that, faucet looks and works great.
This is the second faucet we've purchased and installed in a months time. The other brand was not lead free and the water tasted HORRIBLE from it. I guess on a little tiny piece of paper inside the box they told you to run that faucet for 15 seconds every time you used it. Wouldn't that waste a lot of water? So this Delta faucet is great!!! Lead free, great tasting water again, nice styling. I like how the water is aimed at the drain so it doesn't splash when you turn it on.
We have had this faucet for close to a year. It is easy to install, and nice looking. When the water flow is unrestricted it a very nice faucet with its dual flow option. The problems start when impediments get past the small plastic "filter" where the wand attaches to the hose. The wand is not serviceable. In other words if you have any flow problems with the wand past the initial filter, and you eventually will, you might as well trash the wand, and replace the faucet. Delta told me to "soak" it in vinegar and water. It is a flawed design and they know it. Read some of the other reviews. I have purchased my last Delta product.
