It's difficult to find anything longer than the standard 6 ft dryer cord in any of the big box stores. It is even more difficult to find the four-wire version required in manufactured homes. This arrived ahead of schedule and was as described online. I am happy and my stacked washer/dryer is now against the wall where it belongs and not sitting in the middle of the utility room where Sears left it because they couldn't come up with a cord long enough.
This cord was a godsend. There were none available in our entire city that were over 6 ft. long. The cord is very well made and performs wonderfully. They need to market it to all the appliance shops so that they will stock this item.

I was almost out of options, my wife really wanted that washer/dryer model and I needed a longer cord than 6 feet. I've searched all appliance shops here in Washington, noone carries a 4 wire dryer 10 ft cord, the longest they carry was 6feet. Thank goodness for this Petra! It's working fine:)
We decided to get a front load washer and dryer, but the only way to do this and have a usable space was to stack them and rotate them against a different wall. Without wanting to hire an electrician to move the dryer outlet, a long cord was in order. This cord fit the bill. It allowed us to relocate everything without costing a fortune. Highly recommended if this is something you need.
You can't find a cord as long as this anywhere locally. I looked! I even tried to make my own cord which turned out to be a disaster (certified electrician too). If you need extra length on your dryer cord this is the one to get. Only thing I don't like about it is that it's not UL approved.
I couldn't find this kind of cable longer than 6' at any local stores, but Amazon delivers. Good quality cable, installed in a snap and just the length I needed. Perfect.
