   This crate is the next best thing to housing your bunny in a puppy exercise pen or giving him free-range in a bunny-proofed area! Finally, a "cage" that is fairly decent sized for a rabbit!!! AND it has a flat bottom, with room to put his hay-filled litter box, hidey box, water bowl,salad, and food crock. Of course, a bunny still needs 4-5 hours of playtime outside of the crate, in a bunny-proofed area, every day. But, this crate is a terrific step up for bunnies who need to be housed in a "cage" part of the day. It is more expensive than a 36" exercise pen, (around $55 on Amazon) but, as cages go, this is a million times better than ANY "large" rabbit cages I have ever seen. Bravo to Pet Trex!    This particular crate (pet trex 48") is very flimsy. When the dog leans against it, it sounds as though he is going to break out of it. We also have a Lifestyle stages (48") and it is much sturdier. I would not buy this one again unless the price was way cheaper than lifestyles.

   I was able to score this for a fantastic price and it might be a little flimsy, it's still hold my 65Lb all muscle pitbull without any problems. Once you have it assailable, it's not so flimsy. I love that I was able to get one of these so large, had I gone with another brand I would have had to down sized and Lenore (the dog) digs having all the extra room.
